Foster home
Open your home for rescued cats while they wait to be completely ready to go in their forever home.
We need more foster homes for the cats and kittens that are with us waiting for their forever homes to stay with our network of foster carers.
Please consider opening your home to our cats for a short time.
We are sure that cats will lighten your day every day they are with you.
You don’t have to be an animal expert to foster with us.
All you need is a safe home, a willingness to learn, and a love for animals. We’ll help you with the rest!

Your English is good and you want to improve your writing skills? We need you to help us write a bio for each cat and help adopters to fall in love with our sweet cats.
Put your creativity and grammar skills to work and write cat biographies! Help promote cats for adoption, showcase each cats’ uniqueness, and follow CAT’s style guidelines so that every cat shines online.

Videographer
You are skilled with a photo camera and you wish to help, or gain more skills with your camera? Either way, join us and help us reach our goal faster.
High-quality pictures go a long way towards helping our cats find forever homes. Take pictures of the cats and kittens in our rescue shelters, in foster homes, or of the cats boarding at vet clinics. We also need great photographers for our annual Calendar.
Social media coordinator
Skilled with social media, or you want to gain some more experience? Either way, we would be happy to have you on our team.
Become part of our social media team creating content for Facebook and our website. Whether it’s writing before/after stories, highlighting particular cats, advertising events, or sharing interesting links, keeping our content updated is crucial to spreading the word.

Transporter
You own a vehicle and you are willing to help? We need you to help us with transport of our goods and cats.
We need people with vehicles who can transport cats to vet appointments, pick up donations of food or other items, pick up the cats from the airport to a new location – join the transport team for the ultimate in flexible volunteering.
FlIGHT VOLUNTEER
If you are about to travel we might need your help to help us transport cats and dogs into new homes. Please read more and get in touch with us. Your help is much appriciated.
Flight volunteering for ResQstrays is easy and will cost you nothing! We will take care of everything for you. A representative of our team will bring the animal to the airport, meet you prior to your flight and check the animal in. Upon arriving at your destination airport, you will be met by the adopter. There is no work or expense on your part, and you will be saving a life.
This is how it works:
1. Send your flight itinerary: where you are flying to, date, time, flight reservation number, the name of the airline, and your contact details.
2. Get in touch with adopter: When the animal is confirmed on the flight, we will put you in direct contact with the adopter who will wait for you at your destination. This way you can exchange all your information and details.
3. Checking in with an animal: On the day of the flight, a representative will meet you at the airport. We will help you to check-in with the cat and all the required paperwork, and pay for their reserved ticket.
4. Pick up the cat at the destination: Once you have arrived at the destination airport, you will pick up the animal at a special luggage counter, unless the animal travels in-cabin with you. Go through customs and handle the animal to their new family which will be waiting for it at the airport.
